My Story
Jessica Clark

From the time I was a teenager, healing has been more than an interest—it has been the heartbeat of my life. I was blessed to be surrounded by gifted healers in the Native American tradition, welcomed into a circle where wisdom was passed through stories, ceremonies, and the sacred rites of passage. These moments shaped me quietly but profoundly, planting seeds of reverence for the Earth and the ways she cares for us.

At eighteen, one of those seeds blossomed. I began working alongside an herbalist, learning the language of plants—their scents, textures, and the deep medicine they carry. That time awakened something in me, a calling that has only grown stronger through the years.

Life took me down two parallel and meaningful paths: social justice and Montessori education. One taught me to stand fiercely for equality and the dignity of every human being. The other reminded me daily of the boundless potential within each person, no matter how small. Together, they wove threads of compassion, community, and belonging—threads that would later be part of the tapestry that became Bloom Healing & Wellness.

My studies have been as rich and layered as my life experience. In 2022, I became an ordained minister and completed Rosemary Gladstar’s Science & Art of Herbalism. Two years later, I finished a four-year apprenticeship with the Women’s Academy of Irish Shamanism & Spirituality. Along the way, I became Reiki I–II certified and earned my certification as an Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner. Each step was more than a credential—it was another piece of wisdom, another way to serve.

I believe we are all threads in the Great Weave of our Mother Earth. When we tend to our own healing, we ripple that care outward—to our families, our communities, and the world itself. My work is rooted in helping people rediscover who they are and share their deepest gifts. Because when we do that, we don’t just survive—we all thrive.

If you are reading this, perhaps a part of you is seeking deeper connection—to yourself, to the Earth, to the wisdom that lives within you. I welcome you to walk this path with me. Together, we can explore the ancient and the new, the seen and the unseen, and discover the healing that was meant for you all along.

My Story

My name is Susan DeMont

I have been an early childhood educator for over 30 years. My journey began at Hesser College in Manchester, New Hampshire, where I was first introduced to the Montessori method and philosophy. I was invited to observe a small Montessori classroom on campus, and I was deeply moved by the way the children were free to explore, express themselves, and learn within a beautiful, safe environment. Leaving that classroom, I knew I had found my true calling.

In September 1994, I became an assistant at Bedford Montessori School, a role I held until June 1996. During that time, I earned my Montessori Primary Teacher Certification from the Northeast Montessori Institute in 1995. Soon after, I became the head teacher at Amherst Montessori School, where I taught for several years before moving to Andover Montessori School as head teacher from 1999 to 2002.

To deepen my knowledge, I earned my degree from Lesley University in 2004. That same year, I founded the Manchester School of Montessori in my home. In 2005, I moved to Goffstown and opened Namaste Montessori School. With the support of my daughter and the families we served, Namaste grew into the first American Montessori Society-accredited Montessori school in New Hampshire.

Over the years, I have witnessed many changes in society and the impact they have had on families, especially young children. In June 2024, my daughter and I made the heartfelt decision to close the school so we could serve families and the community in new and meaningful ways.

I returned to school to better understand the effects of trauma on family systems and discovered somatic trauma healing therapy—a type of therapy that teaches techniques to calm the nervous system and help people respond more healthily to the world around them.

My intention in my work is to find my own path to truth and to share techniques and discoveries that have improved my life, in the hope that they may help others do the same.

Some of the techniques I use include breathing exercises, yoga, vibrational sound healing, music, dance, movement, and more. These tools encourage children to open emotionally, discover their inner voice, and learn new ways of relating to others.

I am on track to receive my trauma therapy certification in May 2025. My goal is to partner with families, therapists, and educators as a compassionate bridge, helping children actively participate in their own healing by fostering deeper self-understanding.
